TW hose fittings or couplings are also known as tanker hose fittings or tank wagon couplings. As the name meaning we can see that they are widely used for loading and unloading oils, chemicals products in European tanker fleets. This kind of hose fitting is manufactured to the standard of DIN 28450 or DIN EN 14420-6 with safety clamps and pins. The working pressure can up to 16 bars. The materials are available in brass or stainless steel and sizes range from 2 inch to 4 inch. Different sizes have different parts. The 2 and 3 inch sizes have three parts namely female part or MK part, male part or VK part and locking ring. The 4 inch sizes have two parts namely female part or MK part that includes locking ring and the male VK part. Of course there are blank caps and hose tails to suit with them.
